The Cold Floor of our minds

When you tear off your sheets each morning and stare into their distance. The infatuation was like running down a hill backwards. Reckless pyramid schemes your whole life. Taking advantage of and then taken. You changed your name to Tecmo Freelander and vowed to forget everything that happened. But then you realized you needed to remember what to forget. The contraption never worked well. All it ever produced were the bass lines. Two sided tape and arguments. "I can't help you," I said to myself. Just wind the music box back to the beginning.

keepin on

Back at the Colgate. Moved into our apartment. It's amazing. the walls are quite bare as of now but I think we can do good things with it. I've used the airport express to set up a link from our computers to play our iTunes libraries through the Sonic Impact amp in the common room. It works so well. I'm going to have a lot of work to do this semester (added an extra class than normal) but I think it'll all be worth it. need food now

Two Rs and one T

So tomorrow I'm going to have this stitch removed from the bottom of my foot. what is it from, you ask? Well a needle full of Novacain of course! A needle stuck right into the sole of my own foot. Good lord was that fun to have done. I can't wait to die and go to hell in order to have that done to me every time I think about what it was like to not have forty needles full of severly painful acid jabbed into my foot.

Let's all make out with the Easter Bunny

Cabledable

Listening to a scientist explain very standard information concerning volcanos to a dumb newsanchor is actually very funny.

That bitch called him a brainiac.

Damn Hell

That damn hell is of the positive variety much often typed accompanied with the exlamation mark.

So during my stay in Japan I actually managed to purchase few new Nintendo DS games All of them are pretty great and some even still elude American releases.

Ossu! Tatakae! Ouendan!
Electroplankton
Dare Demo Asobi Taiszen
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow

Electroplankton was actually just relesed yesterday I believe in America and it rocks. Almost literally. It's more of a visual and arual experiment. Many colors and weirdness result in crazy ways to create your own garden of synesthesia.

The DS is on fire these days. Fastest selling console ever. It's dominating the Japanese top ten sales lists. It's also unendingly fun. to me it just offers a variety of games that feel so diverse in gameplay.

Anyway a ton of people already fucking know this so it's not like this is breaking news. It just feels like Nintendo is making good on its stated aim to draw in a much wider audience. This is something you can pick up and instantly play something. I played a demo PSP and it was pretty surprising how long and tragic those load screens felt. Fuck that trade off. And it is a trade off; you can tell me that load screens don't bother you but would you ever choose to keep them had you the choice? Damn it where's my Metroid Pinball!
